Assistant Buyer (Footwear)- Leicester

We are looking for an Assistant Buyer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Buying Team with the day to day running of the range
• Attend appointments and brand meetings when specified
• Complete online creative briefs for the Marketing team
•Monitor web lines to make sure intake images are correct and appearing on the website in a timely manner
•Liaise with brands on samples and updates throughout the season
•Complete weekly trade admin tasks

•Social media awareness and understanding the relevance to the category

Merchandiser - Leicester

We are looking for a Merchandiser to join our team.

Role Overview

To lead the team to deliver all Channel Sales, Markdown, Stock, Intake and Profit Plans. Drive business change to achieve company goals/objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy
• Work with the Buyer review previous season and capture lessons learned.
• Work with the Buyer create the strategy for the department and present.
• Drive Team development supporting the business to facilitate internal promotions and succession planning.


Planning
• Approve the proposed grading from the trading Merchandiser for input into the assortment planning process.
• Review the SMT plan at Buyer Group/Season annually and apply plan at Category/Season level to meet the Buyer Group/Season plan.
• Quarterly plan at Category/Season level with the Buyer to submit a plan on the System that reflects the best possible mix of product to deliver the KPI’s.
• Formulate range plan at Store level in conjunction with the Buyer quarterly.
• Attend selection/pre-selection meetings with the Buyer and suppliers.
• Plan the Pre Scheduling to meet the range plan – In conjunction with Assistant Merchandisers.


Stock
• Overview the ratios for all buys in conjunction with Assistant Merchandiser.
• Ensure that the Buy matches the plan Buy.
• Manage Intake at category and line level.


Trade
• Review weekly trading performance and achieved KPI’s, identifying Issues and the course of action in preparation for the weekly trading meetings.
• Propose and agree actions to recover risk and maximise opportunities with the Buyer at category and line level.
• Monthly – Capture all agreed actions in the monthly forecast reviews.
• Work up the forecast from category/Season level to Buyer Group.
• Meet and gain approval: Incorporating
- Forecasting any sales variance to plan.
- Creation of OTB’s.
- Management of commitments – On time delivery, rebuys cancellations.
- Markdown proposals.
• Provide Retail with Merchandising aids through the Store Allocators.
• Manage the range plan in Season reflecting any changes.
• Create and Manage/monitor sell out dates against all products.
• Establish collaborative working relationships across functions including Online, Store operations, visuals, Marketing, Finance, DC and Stores.

Assistant Merchandiser - Leicester

We are looking for an Assistant Merchandiser to join our team.

Role Overview

To support the team by taking responsibility for ensuring all product is in the right stores to enable achieving departmental sales, markdown, stock, intake and profit plans.

Primarily ‘Store’ focused but working with the product file.

Substitute for the Merchandiser in their absence.

Key Reponsibilities

Planning
• Provide the Merchandiser and Buyer with the previous season analysis at store and product level
• Input into creation of the store strategy with the Merchandiser/Buyer
• Assist in formulation of range plan at store level with the Merchandiser/Buyer
• Work with the Merchandiser to ensure pre-scheduling meets options and range plan at store level
• Create ratios for all buys.

Trading
• Prepare weekly review of stores and product in preparation for Monday trading meeting
• Identify priority stores for the week, review and propose actions.
- New / Re-fit Stores - Analysis of performance
- Over / Under Performing Stores
- Over / Under Optioned Stores
- Priority stores fed to team by management team or other function
• Complete Retail Feedback sheets, completing required actions as well as any follow up.
• Attend store visits from which create and execute an action plan to improve trade
• Manage line cards in conjunction with the Merchandiser
• Participate in the Monthly Re-forecast
• Manage condensing of stocks and IBT’s
• Taking direction from the Merchandiser, assist retail with merchandising aids
• Manage and monitor exception stocks on a daily basis, primarily through the GUI system
• Ensure stores are seasonally correct
• Plan and action new store ranges (in conjunction with pre-schedule)
• Carry out any ad-hoc analysis as required
• Consolidate the supplier order books
• Book in new product with guidelines from the Merchandiser
• Cost, retail and margin checks

Teamwork
• Reporting to the Merchandiser
• Working with the Merchandise Team
• Working with the Buyer
• Seeking guidance on ‘Best Practice’ merchandising from the Trading Manager and implementing
• Develop relationships as appropriate with Store Operations, Visuals, Marketing DC, etc

Key Deliverables – Year 1
• Attend all systems courses
• Strive to have an awareness and understanding of planning processes.
• Be the voice of ‘Stores’ on the department
• Develop more effective branch merchandising through a greater analytical understanding

Creative Photographer and Videographer - Leicester

We are looking for a creative photographer and videographer to join our team. In this role you will work alongside our in-house creative team of photographers, content writers and graphic designers to create and develop imagery and film to showcase our products and brands primarily through our digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Shoot and edit imagery and video, both on location and in a studio, to be used for web banners, social media, blog and news posts, newsletters and other marketing campaigns and ads

• Be part of a creative team responsible for creating and delivering new concepts and ideas for campaigns which both promote the products we sell and engage and entertain our audience

• Ensuring all images and film are edited and produced to a consistent high quality following brand guidelines whilst sticking to deadlines

• Keep up to date with photography and film techniques relevant to your work

 

About You: Skills

• Must have an excellent portfolio showcasing previous work

• Must be passionate and have a good knowledge about the products we sell and the culture surrounding it

• Proficient use of both camera and lighting equipment when shooting imagery and film in both studios and on location

• Must be capable and have proven experience using industry standard image and video editing software

• Must be a confident individual capable of expressing thoughts and ideas clearly

• Must be a highly organised individual capable of self management when dealing with multiple projects under time constraints

• Must have a positive working attitude and be capable in maintaining positive working relationships
