The Chinese Lunar New Year is looming in, so Vans have teamed up with Chinese Brand Purlicue to release a limited range to celebrate the Year Of The Pig.
Purlicue was founded by Chinese architect Su Jun Hua, with the vision of turning the unthinkable into reality. This collection hails from the Vans Vault, which is the créme de la créme of Vans, the Michelin star of Vans if you like.
We've got four different iterations from two classic Vans styles, the Old Skool & the Era. Appropriately chosen to represent both the pig and the new year with their colour palettes.
The Era model is available in two colour-ways, Rose Cloud with a black outsole and Marshmallow with an eye-catching racing red outsole. Both feature panels on the upper that are constructed using premium suede and canvas, alongside an oversized 'Off The Wall' nameplate on the heel.
The Old Skool has dropped in the same two colour-ways, but the Racing Red features a checkerboard upper - these need to be seen in hand to be appreciated fully!
Each colour-way features a velcro tab for an oversized removable stripe, a nice little touch.
