As the name suggests, the Nike Air Max 90 made it's debut back in 1990 and was originally known as the Air Max III. Designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield and celebrated at the time by runners, thanks to its larger airbag. Since the AM90 has become a cultural icon particularly here in the UK and nearly 3 decades after it's original release, we see the Air Max 90 get some well deserved love from London Collective, The Basement.
The Basement are a group of young UK creatives that formed a vibrant community by connecting through the Internet and the streets to ignite their passion for sneaker culture. 2017 saw them rework the Nike Dunk SB Low and Fall 19 sees the creative community rework a trip of AM90's. Having dropped the Glasgow version last week, this week we see the highly anticipated 'Machester' version drop.
Wellgosh will be releasing the Nike x BSMNT Air Max 90 'Manchester' Black/Lemon Venom-Black CU5967-001 via instore raffle from 6th October 2019. The instore raffle closes at 18:00 (BST) 9th October 2019.
