Next year sees Nike's iconic Air Max 90 turn 30 years old. To kick off the celebrations early, Nike have delved into their archives and through their Quickstrike program brought back this 2002 stone cold classic; The AM90 Python.
We stocked and remember this trainer the first time around, it was a favourite amongst staff then and still is today. A black nubuck mudguard and grayscale reptilian overlays sat on a crisp white leather upper makes for an outrageous yet elegant execution.
On the flip, Nike have reworked the AM90 Python with a new colour way that pays homage to the 2002 classic. Still using reptile embossed leathers but executed in a head turning black/cyber-fir, we predicate the 'Green Python' will be a future classic for years to come.
Talking from experience this is a hardwearing kick, it stood the test of time and was only relegated to the realms of a 'dog walker' after over a decade of serious tarmac treading.
