The first offerings from Norse Projects for Spring/Summer 2014 are now available online and in-store. The collection consists of clean and timeless pieces with an underlying sportswear influence subtly worked into the collection through the cuts and materials used throughout it. At Wellgosh we have a selection of shirts, tees, sweaters and shorts on offer, with more pieces due to arrive throughout the season. Keep an eye out for the seasonal outerwear that will feature in the second S/S 2014 drop.
In usual tradition Norse Projects combine elements of street-wear, sportswear and contemporary-wear through a collection that combines unorthodox fabrics with classic silhouettes, featuring; bold palettes, intricate all over patterns, high quality prints and appliques featuring heavily throughout the offerings at Wellgosh.
The strong collection is completed with a selection of updated staple T-Shirt and Hat styles including; the Indigo Stripe Tee, constructed with a distinctive dying process, the James Athletic Tee with stock signature branding applied to it using a high quality printing process, and colour-ups in the classic Niels Boucle Tee.
The appropriation of design and finishes taken from traditional athletic-wear is particularly prominent in the first pieces to arrive this year. It can be seen on the raglan construction expertly applied to more formal pieces such as the Mads Polka L/S Shirt, the athletic branding on the James Athletic Logo Tee, the perforated raglan cut sleeves and nape on the Aske L/S Tee making it ideal for performance or comfort and the Jens Light L/S Shirt, which is a reworking of the classic coach jacket silhouette with a water resistant outer and a 60g Primaloft interior wadding.
The first part of the S/S 2014 collection is now ONLINE, don't miss out on traditional styles and shapes that achieve the balance between functionality and style, always using beautiful fabrics and paying fine attention to detail at Wellgosh.
