In 1966 Paul Van Doren formed the Van Doren Rubber Company in Aneheim, California, and began to sell the original deck shoe. From those humble beginnings the brand has grown into the worldwide phenomenon that is Vans. The Vans Classic range celebrates the brand’s rich heritage and consists of the iconic styles such as the Era, Authentic, Classic Slip On, Chukka, 106 Vulcanised, Half Cab, Sk8 Hi, Old Skool and Zapato Del Barco. The classic range sits alongside the popular Van Doren series which features everything from faded leopard print to vibrant parrot inspired patterns for summer 2013. Also stocked at Wellgosh is the exclusive Vans California range which takes classic Vans silhouettes and gives them a contemporary feel through use of premium fabrics and innovative detailing, as well as creating innovative new styles and shapes. With such a vast spread of colours, fabrics and silhouettes there certainly is a pair of Vans to compliment every outfit.
