Asics

Kihachiro Onitsuka began manufacturing basketball shoes in 1949 in his home town of Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. The company's distinctive crossed stripes were used for the first time in Mexico 66 when they produced an Olympic running shoe, and in 1977 Onitsuka Tiger merged with GTO and Jelenk to form the ASICS Corporation. The Asics Limited Edition programme stocked by Wellgosh features high level colabs on shoes such as the Gel Lyte III, the Gel Saga and the GT-II.
